Hurlingham School is an independent primary school in Putney, London. When Hurlingham School moved to a fully Chromebook environment, it meant flexible, portable devices that teachers could pick up and move with. The “Play Content” feature has added further value for lesson preparation as teachers can queue up their resources ahead of time and click through them during class, keeping focus on students rather than on screen management.

Fewer Tickets, More Time

For the school’s sole IT manager, the drop in support requests has been one of the most tangible outcomes. AV-related issues was a persistent drain under the previous setup which has now largely disappeared once Vivi was in place.

The signage capability has found a practical home too, the daily lunch menu is scheduled to appear automatically on the hall display each day at 11:45, without anyone needing to touch it. Small, but exactly the kind of low-effort automation that suits a lean IT operation.

What’s Next

Announcements and emergency alerts are next on the roadmap. Hurlingham already has an audio emergency speaker system, and adding Vivi’s visual alert capability will reinforce that with on-screen messaging across every classroom at once, something the Head of IT Services sees as a meaningful step forward for school safety.
