About the role
We are looking for a driven, results-oriented Sales Manager to lead the business development strategy, planning and execution for Vivi in Australia and New Zealand.
You are experienced within the B2B space and can easily wear the many hats of being a leader and providing support to the sales team, while developing and executing new sales strategies. A key focus will be to increase market penetration through new customer acquisition as well as drive growth and retention through account management. You will have previously worked in a technology or SaaS company, ideally within the education space.
> Develop and execute the sales strategy for Australia and New Zealand in line with the company’s goals and objectives
> Lead the sales team in Australia and New Zealand ensuring the team’s focus and priorities are well established, and targets are met
> Develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and following up inbound leads
> Conduct regular analysis to evaluate sales effectiveness and identify opportunities to grow the business
> Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and permutations attached to the Australian and New Zealand education markets
> Manage the reseller channel nationally to ensure Vivi remains top of mind
> Build relationships with industry partners, customers and end users for market intelligence and customer loyalty
> Excellent business development, negotiation, problem solving, sales closing and relationship development skills with over 5 years of enterprise sales experience
> Strong leadership skills including experience developing sales strategy, setting and monitoring KPIs, meeting team targets with at least 3 years of sales management experience
> Demonstrated ability juggling competing priorities
> Understanding of and have experience using CRM software, such as HubSpot
> Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaleup environment
> A high level of interpersonal skills
> A team player who loves to collaborate with other people across the business
