About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take responsibility for technical pre-sales and customer onboarding within our UK/EMEA sales team and to support them with all technical aspects of the sales process.
You will be the technology and product expert in the team with extensive knowledge of the Vivi product and its features and the environments in which it runs, you will become the conduit between the sales team and the global engineering and support teams.
You will be the expert at setting up and installing the Vivi product and configuring it within our customers’ environments. You will assist the sales team and the wider business in responding to RFPs and completing any technical documentation required by customers.
You will guide evaluating customers through the onboarding process and continue to support them until you consider them to be in a mature and stable position and ready to be handed over to Vivi’s global support team.
> Supporting the local sales team with any technical questions they may have
> Liaising with the global engineering and support teams to solve customer problems
> Gathering customer requirements and documenting implementation plans
> Supporting customers through the evaluation and onboarding process
> Configuring Vivi within customer environments
> Advising customers on how to best configure their environments to work with Vivi
> Assisting the sales team responding to RFIs and RFPs

> Keeping the sales team up to date with technology
> 2-5 years’ experience in a similar technical role
> Experience of working within a commercial sales team
> Knowledge of all major desktop and mobile operating systems
> Demonstratable experience of working with enterprise wired and wireless networking technologies including knowledge of switch, firewall, and WAP configuration
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills
> Excellent problem-solving skills

> Have a passion for technology, particularly in the EdTech space
> Strong organisational and administrative skills, including an ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
