Vivi partners with Google for Education

25 February 2020 | By viviedu

Vivi International has recently joined the Google for Education Integrated Solutions Initiative.

This partnership will provide a boost for schools, whose users can now link their Google account with Vivi to enjoy a greater range of media and cloud integrations, making their Vivi experience even more seamless.

Users with linked accounts can now access Google through Vivi to include media during a lesson using Google Slides or as part of a playlist in the Digital Signage feature. Vivi users now also have the option of saving annotations straight to the cloud via Google Drive, and not just to their local device. Vivi provides an integration with the Google Admin Console to help validate user profiles.

The Google Partnership announcement came just a week after the Australian-based EdTech start-up revealed it recently closed a funding round with New York-based investment group, Riverside Acceleration Capital (RAC). The capital raised during the round will be used to accelerate Vivi’s expansion in the US market.

“We’re excited about the opportunities this partnership opens up for our customers. It means the hundreds of thousands of teachers currently using Vivi can now easily access even more resources throughout their lesson to ensure more seamless sharing of content with students,” says Natalie Mactier, Vivi CEO.

“For teachers and students to truly realize the transformative capabilities of education technology, it’s important we provide them with the most powerful classroom management tools, which are key to enabling evidence-based practices to improve student engagement and learning outcomes,”
says Mactier.
